You may recall we reviewed jott.com a few months back (see original article). This service continues to get better and it's still FREE! Jott.com enables you to download your thoughts wherever you are by calling a special # and dictating your thoughts into the phone. Your dictated message is then sent to you via email to enable further action.

I have used this free service for several months and I love it! Sure, occasionally it misspells a word, but it always triggers my original thought which leads me to take action as soon as I receive the email.

Now the jott folks have expanded more uses like Jott a Reminder, Jott to Someone Else, Jott to a Group, Jott to a Folder and Jott to a Link. I think the central value of any of these features is the ability to "jott a thought" whenever an idea pops into your head. For example, you may need a "reminder" to call client on a specific day. Not only will you immediately receive the original jott email, but you'll also get a reminder email at the specific time you requested. How good is that? And since the reminders are sent via email, you can easily copy and paste them into your favorite task management software (Outlook, ACT! etc)
